NOTE Augers have replaceable points and edges. Serrated cutting edges and optional points are available to aid penetration in tough digging conditions. Cutting edges for 4″ and 6″ augers are welded onto the auger.

For each replacement cutting edge used on a 36″ auger for an 8900 Digger, two sets of cutting edges are required: 1 (one) 30″ cutting edge and 1 (one) 9″ cutting edge.

When using an extension with your auger bit, use your coiled pin from the extension kit to attach the extension to the auger bit, through the auger adapter on the auger bit. Use the shear bolt, pilot nut, and retaining bolt from the auger adapter to secure the extension to the auger drive. Doing so will avoid possible entanglement.
